Like most of Myrtle Beach, it's a hit-or-miss sandy beachbreak with quality conditions dependent on swell direction, wind, and tide. The area sits near the famous 29th Avenue South zone which Surfline notes as one of the better spots in Myrtle Beach, particularly on a south swell. Southeast swells and northwest offshore winds produce the cleanest sessions, with mid to high tide offering the best shape.
