Break Details
Ocean Drive Beach is the cultural heart of North Myrtle Beach, famous for its shag dancing heritage and lively beach scene. The southeast-facing beach break offers both left and right hand waves with good exposure to east and southeast groundswells. The wide sandy beach and reliable sandbars offer plenty of room to spread out. Works best around low tide when the sandbars are most defined.
Best conditions: Southeast groundswell, northwest offshore winds, low tide, winter swells — December produces the most consistent clean conditions
